Because Totem Nursery Preschool Society is a non-profit society, we are run and governed by a parent volunteer led Board of Directors. Each year, the preschool holds an Annual General Meeting to elect and fill the Executive Board for the year.

The board meets once a month but has regular contact to ensure the smooth operations of the preschool.

The current structure of the Board of Directors is as follows:

  • President
  • Vice President
  • Second Vice President
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • Personnel Chairperson
  • Fundraising Officer
  • Supplies/Equipment Purchasing Officer
  • Social Chairperson

We also have several non-executive positions and committees that ensure the smooth operations of the Preschool. Those include:

  • Mantenance Officers/Committee
  • Class Representatives
  • Blue Box Recycling People
  • Juice Box Recycling
  • Water Pick-Up and Delivery
  • Teacher Helpers
  • Fundraising Committee
  • Decorating Committee

Beyond that, there is always room for volunteering at the preschool!
